Crime Reporting and Statistics
The Clemson University Police Department (CUPD) produces a daily crime report with information on the reported crimes within the jurisdiction. Additionally, CUPD produces an annual Security and Fire Safety report, in compliance with the Clery Act, that contains information regarding campus security and personal safety, as well as crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Clemson University, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.
CUPD also publishes an annual report, in compliance with its CALEA Accreditation, to provide information on the department's operations and crime statistics from the previous year.
