  • CONCERT Teaching Online Asynchronous Course
    begins October 13th, 2020

    This five-week asynchronous and interactive course is intended for faculty teaching or developing courses online. This session begins on October 13th, so please sign-up before this date. The course is designed for anyone wishing to refresh or learn for the first time online teaching. Once enrolled, you will receive an invitation to the Canvas course prior the start date.

  • Tigers Teach with Dr. Andy Mount
    October 13th, 2020

    Tigers Teach aims to empower instructors with short talks on teaching issues and trends. This 20 minute talk followed by 10 minutes of Q&A will focus on the art of mentoring young researchers (Students and PostDocs). Come listen to Dr. Andy Mount, Director of the Okeanos Research Library and Research Assistant Professor and Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences, discuss his experiences with research students.

  • NDEAM Lunch and Learn: PDF Accessibility Overview
    October 28, 2020

    October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. In celebration, Clemson's Accessibility Commission is hosting a series of Virtual Lunch and Learns throughout October and November. Clemson Online's Accessibility Coordinator, Michelle Tuten, will be leading this lunch and learn (12pm - 1pm) on PDF Accessibility.

    "Many times, when asked to share the final draft of a document or flyer on the web, it is required to be in PDF format. Learn the basics of how you can use Adobe Acrobat to make your PDFs accessible so that all of your audience (including those who are completely blind) can have the same opportunity to benefit from your files. Please note that this session will not be covering PDF forms."
