  • Kaltura Basics I
    May 8th, 2023, 1:00 - 1:30pm

    Kaltura is Clemson’s video creation and storage system. As of Summer 2022 it has replaced Ensemble. Join our training sessions to become familiar with Kaltura.

    Kaltura Basics I is an overview of Kaltura and how you can interact with it. It will introduce you to the difference between accessing Kaltura through Canvas and MediaSpace, the difference between My Media and Course Videos, adding an existing video to Kaltura, adding a collaborator (sharing a video), and embedding a video in Canvas. This is the first of four Kaltura training sessions.

  • Kaltura Basics II
    May 8th, 2023, 2:00 - 2:30pm

    Kaltura is Clemson’s video creation and storage system. As of Summer 2022 it has replaced Ensemble. Join our training sessions to become familiar with Kaltura.

    Kaltura Basics II is a demonstration of using Kaltura to create videos. It will cover accessing the Kaltura recorder, creating a video using the recorder, basic video edits, accessing your created video, and adding machine-generated captioning.

  • Kaltura Advanced I
    May 9th, 2023, 1:00 - 1:30pm

    Kaltura is Clemson’s video creation and storage system. As of Summer 2022 it has replaced Ensemble. Join our training sessions to become familiar with Kaltura.

    Kaltura Advanced I is dedicated to creating interactive quizzes in your Kaltura videos. After this training, you can create a quiz in Kaltura, add a video quiz as an assignment in Canvas, access quiz results, and use the Kaltura Dropbox to let students submit videos.

  • Quick Hit Zoom Features
    May 18th, 2023, 3:30 - 4:00pm

    Z zoom has proven to be a great tool for remote learning. Many of Zoom’s features however go unnoticed by many. Zoom meetings have polling capabilities, breakout rooms, chatting, etc. Join us for Quick Hits: Zoom Features as we discuss Zoom features that you may want to incorporate into your online instruction. We will demonstrate these features, and how to implement them in your Zoom settings.

  • Make Your Canvas Site Beautiful
    August 9th, 2023, 1:30 - 2:15pm

    Learn all about clear, effective visual design options for your Canvas pages with the new Design Module in the Faculty Resource Center. You can find pre-made graphics such as icons, course banners, buttons, and more with customization options available. This workshop will provide a walkthrough of the entire Design Module and instructions for downloading, customizing, and placing assets in your courses.
