Educational Background

PhD, Applied Mathematical and Computational Sciences, University of Iowa, 2015
BS, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Zhejiang University, 2010

Research Interests

Conic Programming, Quadratically Constrained Quadratic Programming, Mixed-Integer Programming, and Applications.

My research centers on finding globally optimal solutions for nonconvex optimization problems. I use and develop conic programming and reformulation techniques to solve quadratically constrained quadratic programs and mixed-integer programs. The ultimate goal is to "convexify the world".

Some of my recent work can be found on the website of Clemson OR Institute at https://or.clemson.edu/preprint-series/.
