Educational Background

Ph.D., Statistics, University of Cincinnati, 2018
B.S., Computational Mathematics, Northeast Forestry University, 2013

Profile/About Me

I am Assistant Professor of Statistics in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University. Before joining Clemson in 2021, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI) and Duke University from 2018-2021, where I participated in the 2018-2019 research program on Model Uncertainty: Mathematical and Statistical (MUMS). I received my Ph.D. from University of Cincinnati in 2018.

Research Interests

My research interest is focused on developing statistical methods to understand physical and environmental processes. It spans the areas of Uncertainty Quantification (UQ), Bayesian Statistics and Spatial Statistics. Most recently, I work with climate scientists and ocean scientists to address data analytic problems in remote sensing and coastal flood hazard studies.
