Custom CORE Trips & Lake Hartwell Events
Get outside as a team! CORE offers a variety of adventure trips and programs for groups that are looking to get outside and explore the beauty of the Upstate.
Pick Your Trip
CORE offers the following trips and programs to choose from:
- Whitewater Rafting on the Nantahala River: $60 per person*
- Hike in the Upstate: $20 per person*
- SUP and S’mores on Lake Hartwell: $20 per person*
*Minimum group size is 8
Looking to adventure close to campus? Groups can request to reserve the firepit at Andy's or reserve kayaks and paddleboards to use at Snow Beach on Lake Hartwell! Additional staffing may be required for some events.
- Firepit: $225 per hour
- Paddleboard Group Rate: $25 per boat
- Kayak Group Rate: $20 per boat
- Staffing Fee: $15 per hour
*A minimum rental of 6 kayaks and/or paddleboards is required for a group rental.
Prices are subject to change based on availability and group size.
Forms should be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to their desired program date. Based on the group's request, an agreement will be made to accommodate that participant count. If the group increases the amount of participants, they will be charged according to the per person rate for each additional participant. There is no guarantee that an increase will be possible once the agreement has been signed.

- For Firepit requests
- In the Event Type box, select CR Fire Pit
- For the location, select Andy's Fire Pit
- For all other Custom CORE Trip Requests
- In the Event Type box, select CR Custom Outdoor Rec Trip
- For the location, select Outdoor Rec Trip
