ProfileIn addition to being a lecturer in Political Science, I am the director of the Regional Economic Analysis Laboratory. From 2005-2019, I was a research economist with the Strom Thurmond Institute, which was a public policy research institute. In 2019, I transferred to the Department of Political Science, where I had previously taught as a visiting instructor. I have also co-taught regional economic development policy as a visiting professor for Clemson’s Agribusiness program. Prior to coming to Clemson, I taught economics at Anderson University and Tri-County Technical College. | |
Research InterestsMy research is primarily in the field of regional economics. I do extensive consulting work doing economic and fiscal impact analysis. I also do broader research on economic development and tax policy. Research Publications(Selected)
