ProfileNursing for 30 years. Mostly caring for geriatric patients. Worked in a nursing home for the first four years of my nursing career. Then transitioned into hospital setting full-time, part-time, then PRN. My hospital experience is Charge Nurse / Staff Nurse. Worked for Infection Prevention and Patient Safety for 7 years. Continuously work as a staff nurse while teaching nursing students. Started my educational journey back in August of 2013 at USC Upstate until August 2021. Transitioned to Clemson University SON August 2021. Primary course from the beginning has been teaching students Medical Surgical 2. Educating students in lecture, clinical and simulation laboratory. Nursing is a calling for me and educating patients, caregivers, and students is my passion. | |
