ProfileDr. Branyon is a dedicated lecturer in the School of Nursing, bringing over 18 years of nursing experience in both Acute and Primary Care to her role. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University in 2005, followed by a Master of Science in Family Nursing Practice in 2010, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2022. A board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Branyon teaches courses such as Nursing 4140 and 4141 in Community Health and Health Promotion, Nursing 4150 and 4150 Community Health, Nursing 1400 in Foster Innovation in Nursing, and Nursing 9050 in DNP Health Informatics. Dr. Branyon actively contributes to the nursing community as a board member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and as a member of both The American Nurses Association and The American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Branyon also enjoys volunteering at Clemson Community Care. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two children, and two miniature schnauzers, and is an enthusiastic supporter of the Clemson Tigers. | |
Research InterestsPrimary research interests include Community Health and Health Promotion, SDOH, incorporating technology in Nursing and across Nursing curriculum to foster innovation and improving Mental Healthcare in Primary Care and in the University setting.
