ProfileI am trained as a clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety disorders. My research interests began in the area of cognition and fear, specifically threat appraisals. In 2003, I began to wonder about a different way of coping with threat: courage. My research in courage has more recently led me to think about accolades for both courage and for virtue in general, and situational affordances for virtuous behavior. | |
