Profile

Dr. Eunhye Grace Kim is an Assistant Professor of Tourism and Event Management in the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management at Clemson University. Before joining Clemson, Dr. Kim was an Assistant Professor of Tourism and Hospitality Studies at Central Connecticut State University, after completing her Ph.D. in Community Resources and Development, with a major in Tourism Development and Management, from Arizona State University. Dr. Kim’s research focuses on destination marketing and tourism marketing in relation to critical and innovative approaches to events and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions/Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism research. She is also interested in studying event marketing/management, sustainable tourism, cultural/heritage tourism, special events/festivals, and economic impact/development in tourism destinations.
