ProfileI am a critical care nurse and regularly lecture on Critical Care Nursing in the undergraduate program. My specialties within critical care are Neurology and Trauma Nursing. My practice experience has been focused in the Upstate area of South Carolina. I grew up in Sumter County in a rural area on a multi-generational farm. I'm active in professional organizations and hold certifications in Critical Care (CCRN) and Advanced Trauma Life Support for Nursing (ATCN). | |
Research InterestsMy research interests have included alcohol withdrawal in the intensive care unit and psychometrics of instruments for the Spanish-speaking population - Spanish translation of the NIHSS in Neurology patients.
