James Tsismanakis, MGHM, CDME, TMP, CHIA, CAHTA. CEO of the Discover DeKalb / DeKalb Convention and Visitors Bureau and Sports DeKalb. Tsismanakis is a Ph.D. student at Clemson University in the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management program. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University in the Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality program. Specialties: Tourism, heritage tourism, hospitality, product development, destination management, destination marketing, sports management, retail sales and management, Food and Beverage/food service, community and government relations, and foundation management.
