Before coming to Clemson in August 2021, I was a postdoctoral scholar for three and a half years at Arizona State University with the School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership.

Research Interests

My current research interests focus on political leadership. My dissertation focused on political leadership in Thucydides and Plato. I am currently revising the first chapter of the dissertation into a journal article on political leadership and rhetoric. I am also currently writing an article on Augustine's City of God.
