ProfileDeveloped more than two decades of professional expertise in various forms of resilience. This was accomplished through work in a variety of settings, including schools, religious organizations, community-based organizations and corporate entities. What is clear is that education is invariably a part of the resilience pathway in the body and in organizations and communities. My research now includes how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted normal human development for children and young adults and how academic engagement demonstrates re-engagement after COVID-19. We ultimately hope to find effective strategies to help teachers enhance resilience by improving academic engagement. | |
