ProfileDr. Pickett teaches Advanced Physical Assessment. A Family Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of clinical nursing experience, Dr. Pickett is also board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management through the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists. She currently maintains an active NP practice with Spartanburg Regional's Medical Group of the Carolinas - Senior Health, and volunteers with St. Luke's Free Medical Clinic. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the South Carolina Nurses Association, the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists and the American Diabetes Association. | |
Research InterestsHealth assessment, health care outcomes, disparity in care, and transcultural nursing.
