ProfileI am a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over 20 years of mental health nursing experience. In addition to being board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an FNP, I also hold a national certification through the Pediatric Nurse Credentialing Board (PNCB) as a Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist (PMHS). I am currently a Principal Lecturer and the lead teacher for Mental Health Nursing at Clemson University. I continue to work as a FNP for Lutheran Hospice. | |
Research InterestsI am interested in the management of depression in the primary care setting, and I have explored the clinical problem of the lack of training that primary care providers have received in depression management.
