Educational Background | ProfileShannon Russell is an online Ph.D student in the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management department. She currently works as a recreational therapist serving individuals with intellectual and developmental diagnoses in the community. She has previous experience as a recreational therapist serving individuals with mental health diagnoses on inpatient psychiatric units, as well as individuals with physical and intellectual diagnoses at a therapeutic camp and an inclusive recreation program. Shannon is a member of the North Carolina Recreational Therapy Association board and serves the board as a member-at-large. |
