Profile

Shannon Owen has over 20 years of experience in the health and human service field consulting for numerous nonprofit organizations involving community research, planning, evaluation, and development of strategic and operational plans. Her work has also entailed feasibility studies, community health needs assessment for local hospitals, board development and focus group facilitation. In addition, she has trained agencies across the Upstate of South Carolina in outcome measurement, utilization of logic models, and outcome tracking. Most recent consultant work includes the following clients: AnMed Health, Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, the Hispanic Alliance, Sustaining Way, Meals on Wheels Greenville, Pendleton Community Center, NonProfit Alliance of Greenville, and the Mary Sunshine House. She has also worked as the Chief Operating Officer for the United Way of Anderson County, Interim Director for the Greenville Literacy Association and Interim Director for Project Host. Shannon currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Greenville Literacy Association.
