Profile

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science. I teach courses in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program and the PhD in Policy Studies program. Prior to joining Clemson University, I served as an Assistant Professor at State University of New York at Brockport. My research has been published in Journal of Public Administration and Theory, Governance, Public Performance and Management Review, and other journals.

Research Interests

My primary research agenda focuses on public management at the local level of government. More specifically, I study the factors that facilitate collaborative governance as a strategy to address public issues through local government engagement with public and private stakeholders. My secondary research area is bureaucratic corruption that examines the tools of curbing grand and petty corruption.
