Seminar Series

The Department of Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences presents a weekly seminar during the fall and spring semesters. Led by a distinguished expert, each seminar provides an insightful look at the industry, environmental practices, and events.

Invited speakers from industry, government, and other academic departments are regularly included in the series. The seminars are held in the Rich Laboratory auditorium in Anderson in the fall and in Brackett Hall on campus in the spring. Suggestions for speakers are always welcome. Please send ideas to the faculty member coordinating the seminar. Discussions and Q&A & follow most.

A list of archived seminars is available, with an overview of the presentation topic. Our graduate students give public presentations of their research as part of their thesis dissertations. The dates, topics discussed, and the presenters are shown in the Defense Schedule.
