Membership Renewal Month!!! - Members who join or renew in the month of September get a free t-shirt! Members also get free admission to the South Carolina State Fair on 4-H Day (Saturday, October 11) with presentation of a membership card or if wearing 4-H gear!
- September 1: Deadline for all Livestock Show entries must be completed online at ShoWorks SC State Fair Livestock Show details
- September 1: Deadline for South Carolina State Fair Equine Scholarships
- September 2: Bark Buddies K9 Fair Prep Class #1 6pm at Oconee Extension Office (youth who participated in the Bark Buddies Training are asked to come to at least one of the three classes to prepare for the Fair show)
- September 6: Oconee 4-H at the Walhalla Farmer’s Market Join intern Carson Towe 9-11am at the Walhalla Farmers market to celebrate 4-H and kick of the membership month! Bring homemade items to sell to raise money for your clubs.
- September 8: Oconee Area Junior Naturalist Program 4:30-5:30pm: Entomology (insects & other small critters) at South Cove Park – this FREE series is co-hosted with Oconee Parks, Rec, and Tourism
