Research Interests

Pulsating aurora are a phenomena of blinking visible aurora that are the result of plasma waves in the magnetosphere interacting with electrons, causing electron precipitation into the lower regions of the ionosphere/thermosphere. I study pulsating aurora through the development of sounding rocket instrumentation for in situ measurements.
