General Campus Tours*

Tours start at the Class of 1944 Visitors Center in the Strom Thurmond Building
230 Kappa Street
Tours are available at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. (please allocate 90 minutes)  
Note: All tours for March 30 and April 6 are at capacity. Tours are available on Thursday, March 29 or Thursday, April 5  in the afternoon.
Advance registration is required via the CUCourse account system. You must set up an account to register for a campus tour.

Admissions and Financial Aid Sessions

Class of 1944 Visitors Center in the Strom Thurmond Building

Get an overview of the admissions process, and learn about all the financial aid offerings available to incoming students. All your questions answered in one place! The general campus tour will begin following each presentation.

Lyceum Scholars Program — $10,000 Scholarship

3-4 p.m.The Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism invites prospective students to learn about the Lyceum Scholars Program, a highly competitive scholarship that offers ten incoming freshmen $10,000 over four years.
The information session will feature current Lyceum Scholars, faculty and staff in the program, followed by Q&A.

Information Session and Facility Tour*

The College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities invites prospective students and their families to an information session, followed by a guided facilities tour led by faculty, staff and students. Tour options include:

  • Lee Hall Tour (architecture, landscape architecture, visual arts and construction science management)
  • Brooks Center Tour (performing arts: theater, music and audio technology)
  • Humanities Tour (English, history, language and international health, language and international trade, modern languages, Pan African studies, philosophy, religious studies, women's leadership and world cinema)

The Department of Political Science and the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice*
Information Session

This session will provide an overview of each major and their respective concentration areas. The sessions will also address common questions pertaining but not limited to: career options, BA vs. BS, Study Abroad, and AP credits. Prior registration is required, and space is limited.

Department of Communication*
Information Session
Student Media Listening Center, Daniel Hall Room 304
Join the Department of Communication for an information session and in-depth look at the Social Media Listening Center (SMLC) in Daniel Hall. Each session will have departmental ambassadors and faculty will be available for an overview look at the Communication and Sports Communication major as well as to answer questions you may have as a prospective student. Two sessions will be held in the SMLC with a session from 9:00-9:45 am and again at 10:00-10:45 am. Due to space constraints in the SMLC, advance sign up will be necessary. Information Sessions*
The College of Science information session is an opportunity to learn about the biochemistry, biological sciences, chemistry, genetics, mathematical sciences, microbiology and physics majors housed within our college. You will hear about the curricula, opportunities for participating in cutting-edge research, student support and the remarkable variety of career options available to scientists and mathematicians. You will also hear about ways to get involved on campus through programs like study abroad and clubs and organizations. There will also be time to ask any questions you may have.

Calhoun Honors College
Information Sessions

The Calhoun Honors College information session is for all newly accepted honors students or prospective students interested in the Honors College. The session will be an overview of admissions procedures to the program and the opportunities available through the Honors College with a time for questions.  The Calhoun Honors College invites accepted students for fall 2018 to an informal reception to meet Honors faculty, students and staff. Parking:

Please park at lot R-6, located at 50 Vineyard Rd. If you are traveling from Bowman Field, follow SC 93 toward Central, South Carolina. Vineyard Road is the first road just after the 76 interchange and First Citizens Bank. Once you area on Vineyard road, it is 0.25 miles down that road on the right. There is a gate into the lot that will open automatically when you pull up to it.

Additionally, if traveling from US 76, turn into R-6 from the intersection of Perimeter Rd / US 76 / and the lot entrance. The approximate address for that entrance is 355 Anderson Hwy, Clemson, SC. This is the address for the National Guard building right next to the parking lot. If navigating to that address, turn into the lot at the stoplight. and utilize the shuttle to the Class of 1944 Visitors Center at the Strom Thurmond Building. Tiger Transit, the University’s shuttle service, will begin running at 7:00 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m. Please arrive at the parking lot 30-45 minutes before your scheduled tour. A short shuttle ride will bring you to the Visitors Center where your day begins. 

When you’re ready to return to your vehicle, hop back on Tiger Transit (look for the bus marquee “Visitors Center Route”) at either the Visitors Center or the Hendrix Student Center.
