Color in Word
Using styles, authors can customize the look and feel of Word documents, leverage brand colors and ensure strong color contrast. Start with a template or customize your own styles for a custom look and feel.
To help ensure color contrast when designing, Word can filter colors that meet contrast requirements. In the Home ribbon, when selecting Font Color or Text Highlight Color, choose High Contrast Only.

The Accessibility Checker in Word will identify color contrast issues, but some items may need manual review, including images that contain text. Colour Contrast Analyzer is a free tool that can assist with verifying color contrast.
