Profile

I am an experienced Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing, and am a recent graduate of our Family Nurse Practitioner program. I have taught here at Clemson for over fifteen years. My specialty field is acute care pediatrics. I have a wide variety of practice experience, and have served as a nurse in a broad range of clinical settings including in-patient acute care, intensive care, home health, and community health. I've had the privilege of teaching nursing courses at all student levels ranging from nursing fundamentals, medical surgical nursing, skills/simulation lab, professionalism, health assessment, and pediatrics class and clinical. I believe in supporting the community aspect of pediatrics. I've supervised students in clinical settings while performing health and wellness screenings, immunization clinics, health fairs, and Head Start educational screenings and clinics. I also have served as the Student Nurses Association Advisor for the Clemson School of Nursing locally and at state and national conventions.
