Janine Bowen ’89 Undergraduate Scholar & 

Janine Bowen ’89 Graduate Fellow

To enhance campus diversity by supporting women and minorities as permissible by law. Expenditures may include, but are not limited to, faculty support, awards, and program support. Selection criteria for the award winners and other specific details of this program will be administered by the Department of Industrial Engineering.

  • Award Criteria

    This award was established by Janine Anthony Bowen, along with family and friends, for recognition of women and minorities who have distinguished themselves academically while pursing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering.

    The Janine Bowen '89 Undergraduate Scholar award recognizes outstanding academic performance by a student pursuing the B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering.

    A separate fellowship also honors IE graduate students at Clemson. The Janine Bowen '89 Graduate Fellow award recognizes outstanding academic performance by a student pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering.
