Crime Victim Services

The professionals in this department are trained to help ensure that all rights of a crime victim are protected. CUPD Victim Advocates offer support to those campus and community members who have been a victim or witness to a crime by providing assistance, emotional support, victims’ rights information, help in finding needed resources, and assistance in filling out crime victim related forms. In addition, they serve as the victim/witness liaison with social services agencies and the courts.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found department is located at 124 Ravenel Center Place. Hours of operation are 8:00 to 4:00 Monday – Friday. You may inquire in person or call 864-656-0433 for more information. For email correspondence, send request to: cupdlostandfound@clemson.edu

Property Registration

Students, faculty and staff can register property with CUPD online to aid recovery if something is lost, stolen or misplaced. Personal property registration is free and available 24/7. When registering, you will provide descriptions and serial numbers of your property. The information is confidential and only accessible to law enforcement officers.

Tiger Transit

Safe rides are provided by Clemson University Parking and Transit Services via Tiger Transit to university students, faculty, staff and visitors between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. to and from any campus location. To request Tiger Transit call 864-656-3333 to schedule a ride. During peak traffic times surrounding home football games, this service may not be available.

Fingerprinting

For members of the Clemson University community who require fingerprints for prospective employers, security clearances and bar applications, CUPD offers fingerprinting services Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please call 864-656-2222 for an appointment. CUPD headquarters is located at 124 Ravenel Center Place, Seneca, SC 29678. The cost of fingerprinting service is free for students.

Applicants must present a photo ID (driver's license or passport) and a Clemson University ID. All fingerprint cards should be printed in black ink. Fingerprint cards should be provided by the requesting authority.
