Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Physical Chemistry at Clemson University

The Department of Chemistry at Clemson University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in physical chemistry. Candidates with research experience in physical chemistry, especially those with biological interests, are encouraged to apply. Candidates must possess a PhD degree in Chemistry or a related field, and will be expected to both teach physical chemistry courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and vigorously pursue extramural research funds with which to support a developing research program.

The department boasts a collegial, collaborative environment with a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of diversity among its faculty, staff, and student body. TENURE-TRACK CHEMISTRY FACULTY POSITION AT CLEMSON UNIVERSITY: THE INTERFACE OF MATERIALS AND CHEMICAL BIOLOGY

The Department of Chemistry at Clemson University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the broadly defined area of the interface of materials science and chemical biology.  Candidates with research interests in solid state materials, polymers, biomaterials, and chemical biology, are encouraged to apply.  Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or related field, and will be expected to teach chemistry courses in their area(s) of expertise at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to vigorously pursue extramural research funds in order to sustain a developing research program.  The potential for collaborations with groups in the Clemson University School of Materials Science and Engineering, the Department of Bioengineering, and with Prisma Health (formerly the Greenville Hospital System) provides for a rich set of opportunities for integrated research activities.
