Profile

Dr. Lucy Chernykh is the Wells Fargo Professor of Banking. Her current research focuses on international finance, with primary interest in the Russian banking market and regulation. Her work has been published in the Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, Review of Corporate Finance Studies, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, and the Journal of Financial Stability. She has also won several research and teaching awards. Dr. Chernykh has served as an International Finance track chair and Financial Markets and Institutions track chair for the Eastern Finance Association and Southern Finance Association meetings. She also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Finance and the Southern Finance Associations.
