Suzanne Pearse, CPA, began her career in public accounting with Deloitte and Touche, LLP after receiving her Masters of Accountancy from the University of South Florida. During her 11 years with Deloitte's Assurance and Advisory Services, she worked with public and privately-held clients in various industries. After leaving Deloitte, Suzanne spent 10 years with AuditWatch/Thomson Reuters where she was responsible for authoring and teaching continuing professional education courses, throughout the US, on a wide range of topics including accounting and auditing updates, audit processes, internal controls, and analytics. She also provided consulting services to local, regional, and national CPA firms to improve their existing processes and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their audits. Suzanne joined the Clemson School of Accountancy faculty in August 2012. Suzanne resides in Simpsonville, SC with her husband and their daughter.
