Profile

MSG Charles E. Felker is a native of Raleigh, NC. He entered the service in March of 2006 and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri as a combat engineer. MSG Felker has held various leadership positions from Team Leader to First Sergeant. Military assignments include: A Co, 37th Engineer Battalion, 20th Engineer Brigade, Fort Bragg, NC from 2006-2009 as a Combat Engineer and Team Leader; 102nd Sapper Company (Combat) (Airborne), 307th Engineer Battalion, 20th Engineer Brigade, Fort Bragg, NC from 2009-2011 as a Team Leader and Squad Leader; A Co, 425th BSTB, Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, AK from 2011-2014 as a Squad Leader; C Co, 1-48th Infantry Battalion, 3rd Chemical Brigade, Fort Leonard Wood, MO from 2014-2017 as a Senior Drill Sergeant; A Co, 307th Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC from 2017-2018 as a Platoon Sergeant; HHC, 307th Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC from 2018-2019 as the Battalion Operations NCOIC; B Co, 307th Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC from 2019-2021 as the Company First Sergeant; Engineer Advanced Leader Course, Fort Leonard Wood, MO from 2021-2023 as the Course Chief. MSG Felker has four combat deployments which include Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan (2006-2007), Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq (2009-2010), Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan (2011-2012), and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in Afghanistan (2019-2020).
