Lisa has been shaping career engagement at Clemson University since 2015 and currently serves as the Director of Career Engagement in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. With a passion for helping students navigate their professional journeys, she draws on a diverse background, having earned a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Journalism degree from the University of Kansas. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Clemson, focusing on student motivation to engage in career services.
Before transitioning to higher education, Lisa began her career on Capitol Hill and in government affairs. A Nebraska native, she enjoys life in Clemson with her husband, Alfred, and treasures time with her grown children and daughter-in-law.
