Naomi has worked extensively within the Human Resources field for 30 years, beginning her career as a Personnel Service Specialist in the U.S. Army. She has had the opportunity to work in a variety of industries, for organizations large and small, with a focus on human capital management and employment law compliance.
As a faculty member, she draws from this experience to enhance students’ learning with real-world application of HRM concepts, in addition to the theory and employment laws that dictate their practice.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Arizona State University and a Master’s degree in Legal Studies, with a concentration in Human Resources and Employment Law, from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. She holds a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation.
