Profile

Dr. Taufique Samdani received his Doctorate degree from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, Paris, France, in December, 2010. Currently, he is Clinical Assistant Professor of Finance at Clemson University. During his career, he took positions at the University of Toledo (OH), Millikin University (IL), EDHEC Business School (France), IESEG School of Management (France), Citigroup (New York, NY), IBM Watson Research Center (Hawthorne, NY), IBM Research (Tucson, AZ), and IBM Corporation (Charlotte, NC).

Research Interests

  • IPOs, corporate governance, financial reporting, financial markets, regulations, emerging markets, and economics of asymmetric information.
