M.S. Program

Masters of Science: Online

For the online M.S. program, graduates earn the same degree as the in-person program while taking fully online courses through asynchronous delivery. Students can choose between a six-month internship or a six-credit thesis to complete the program.

B.S./M.S. Combined Program

Undergraduate engineering students at Clemson University may begin a Master of Science (M.S.) degree program while completing their Bachelor of Science (B.S.). The combined program provides undergraduate students a head-start on graduate studies by allowing them to use a limited number of graduate courses to satisfy requirements for both the B.S. and M.S. degrees.

Those interested in applying to the graduate program in mechanical engineering should submit all supporting material directly to Graduate Admissions through the application portal. Clemson University applicants are not required to submit GRE scores but are encouraged to take the exam to strengthen the application and for funding purposes.
