4-H Day and Overnight Camping Programs

4-H Camp: Youth taking part in an Extension planned educational experience of group living in the outdoors. Overnight camping includes being away from home at least one night (resident, primitive, or travel camping) and is not restricted to members of organized 4-H clubs. Day camping consists of multiple-day programs, with youth returning home each evening. 

2020 Pinckney Leadership Camp for Middle Schoolers
Camp is open to rising 7th and 8th grade students, and will be hosted at Camp Long in Aiken on July 26th-31st, 2020. Students are only eligible to attend the camp once. The cost for camp s $55 and applications close March 27, 2020. 4-H membership not required.

2020 Pinckney Leadership Conferences for High Schoolers
Conferences are open to rising 10th  and 11th  grade students, and we will host two sessions on the campus of Clemson University. The cost of the conference is $100, and applications close on March 27, 2020. 4-H membership not required.
-First Session June 21-27, 2020
-Second Session July 12-18, 2020

SC 4-H Club Camp
-Session 1, June 14-18, 2020 (Sunday - Thursday) will be at Camp Long, near Aiken, SC. Cost is $295 for current 4-H members and $310 for non-members.
-Session 2, July 19-23, 2020 (Sunday - Thursday) will be at Camp Bob Cooper, near Summerton, SC (off I-95). The cost is $305 for current 4-H members and $320 for non-members.
*A physical and immunization record are required for registration.
Download and complete the flyer and return it along with a $75 non-refundable deposit. The balance will be due a minimum of 2 weeks prior to camp.

*MEMBER DISCOUNTS: Youth may join 4-H for an annual fee of $15 and receive the member rate/$15 discount for all camps. Once the $15 additional fee for any camp is paid, it satisfies this annual membership fee and does not need to be paid again.

*NEWBERRY COUNTY 4-H REFUND POLICY:  Membership dues are not prorated and are non-refundable. If you cancel a camp spot more than 2 weeks before the start date, a full refund may be given. If you cancel with less than 2 weeks and more than 1 week before the start date, you may receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given within 1 week from the start date.
