Enroll in 4-H

Becoming a 4-H Member is Easy!!!

Membership in South Carolina 4-H has its benefits and is open to youth ages 5-18. 4-H members have access to all the opportunities that 4-H offers. This includes community clubs, 4-H projects, individual studies and our amazing summer camps. 4-H members that enroll, the membership fee of $15 will includes a membership T-shirt.

The membership form and dues are to be submitted annually. Fees are not prorated. 4-H age is determined by January 1 of the current club year (September 1 through August 31). For example, if you are enrolling in the 2021-22 4-H year and you turn 5 years old either on or before January 1, 2021, then you are eligible to join even though you may only be 4 at the beginning of the 4-H year. For example, if you turn 19 on January 2nd, 2021 or later, you are still eligible to join 4-H because on January 1 you were not older than 18.

If this is your first year in 4-H, it will take about 20 minutes to complete the registration. If you were a member in previous years then you will simply need to go in and confirm that everything is correct, and update anything that is not. By setting up the online registration you will save yourself much time in the future, and will also be able manage your account and utilize the system to track all that you have done in 4-H.

Those youth who are new to 4-H will follow the link, check the box "I need to set up a profile", and the system will walk you through the process. If you have any problems/questions during your enrollment contact the Clemson Extension office at (803) 534-6280.
