2020 Administrative Update

As we begin registrations for the 2020 Clemson Tax Workshops we wanted to share a brief administrative update:

Due to concerns of the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing measures, we plan to conduct the 2020 Clemson Tax Workshops online this year. While it is not our preferred method of teaching and conducting the programs, for the safety of participants, speakers, organizers, hosts and others, we felt it a required move.

For beyond 2020, we would like to have both online and in-person seminars available. We had future plans to offer online seminars and in some ways the pandemic has just sped that process along. What we will miss is the interaction both personally and professionally of the in-person seminars for this year.

The registration price is slightly reduced for this year as certain expenses have been cut from our budget. However, mailing of materials before and after the event, compensating speakers, handling administrative costs and the additional technology and software costs are all expenses for the program. Our goal, as always, is providing high-quality programs at a value to our participants.

We have updated our websites and registrations, as seminars get closer we will provide additional instructions to make a smooth transition. If you have joined us for our other online seminars you may already be familiar with the process.

We hope you, your families, colleagues and others are able to remain safe and healthy during this time. We look forward to the day we can again meet in-person and as always, we appreciate your participation and feedback.

Respectfully, the Clemson Extension Tax School Team
