  • Course Faculty
    Gregory J. Bouchard, Tax School Director, Cornell University

    Since 2012, Gregory J. Bouchard has been the Tax School Director at Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York.  In addition to teaching at the Cornell Tax Schools, Greg has been a seminar speaker across the country on Ag Tax Issues and Partnership Taxation.  Greg has both a BS and MS from Cornell University. Greg had been employed by Farm Credit since leaving Cornell University in the fall of 1975 until February 2017. While at what was then the Farm Credit Banks of Springfield, and under the guidance of Cornell’s Professor Robert Smith, Greg took on responsibility for developing Farm Credit’s Agrifax Tax Service and contributed to the development of its farm business consulting program. This included developing training materials, certification exams, and program operating procedures. Greg then left the Banks to manage an Association Agrifax Program (records, taxes, payroll, and consulting). Through 2016 Greg had been the lead instructor for internal tax training programs. Greg also authors and reviews chapters for the Tax Workbook prepared annually by the Land Grant University Tax Education Foundation (LGUTEF). Finally, Greg is a member of RuralTax.Org, an organization that not only works with the national IRS office to update the Publication 225 and refine its farm tax publications but also holds an annual meeting with staff of the United States Congress Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) to address tax law as it affects the agricultural industry.

  • Continuing Education Credits
    For CPA, Enrolled Agents and Other Tax Professionals: 8 hours of CPE
    For Attorneys: 6.60 hours of CLE

    *CPA, EA and other Tax Professionals are based on a 50-minute credit hour while attorneys are based on a 60-minute credit hour. The total time of instruction is 400 minutes. Extra time is allotted for online sign-in, 20 minutes of breaks and a 50 minute lunch break at noon. Online sign-in begins at 8:15 am.
  • Course Materials

    Participants will receive via e-mail a book with all the topics covered during the course before the event starts.

  • Reporting to the IRS

    Completed credit hours will be reported to the IRS within two weeks of the course completion for all participants providing their PTIN number during registration. Please be sure to include your name as it is listed with the IRS and that your PTIN number is valid for the current year. The IRS Program ID for this course is: 3XKET-T-00031-22-O. The title of the program is Comprehensive Partnership Income Taxation Course (8 credit hours).

  • Reporting to the CLE

    Completed credit hours will be reported to the Commission on CLE and Specialization of The Supreme Court of South Carolina within one week of the course completion for all participants providing their bar number during registration.

    A reminder email with Zoom link and instructions are sent again 48 hours before the course begins. Finally, if you are not familiar with Zoom, please be sure to test your system before the event as in very rare cases the firewall settings in your computer may prevent you from logging into the platform. You can go to: https://zoom.us/test and test your internet connection by joining a test meeting. Once you access the Test meeting, you will be able to check your speakers and microphone functionality.
