My research interests include:
(1) various topics related to accounting education: metacognition, self regulated learning, motivation, achievement goal theory, approaches to learning
(2) various issues related to Medicare and hospital performance: the impact of RAC audits, the Medicare payment system, fraud, hospital financial performance
(3) the teaching of ethics
(4) the decision utility of aggregated vs. disaggregated information
(5) methodology (statistics, models, etc.)
(6) the measurement of student perceptions of the learning environment
