Located in the heart of downtown Cayce, South Carolina, the proposed Cayce Art Enrichment Center focuses on interior and exterior ramps as its main system of circulation throughout the building. To complement Cayce's downtown revitalization efforts, this proposed art center features repeating vertical granite facades that gradually become more or less dense depending on the shift in public and private space. Its material design is inspired by the city's granite quarry, located near the site, as well as their historical ties to masonry.
