Turfgrass Internship Program

The internship program provides University students with college credit for practical on-the-job training supervised by qualified professionals. Graduates have stated that practical experience has increased their motivation for learning due to greater awareness of the relevance between working and classroom instruction. Employers have stated that they prefer to hire students with meaningful work experiences. Students also appreciate opportunities that expose them to the latest techniques, equipment, and ideas provided by industry. The goal of the internship experience is to provide students these opportunities while providing industry with interested students that are developing into professionals.
