Industry and Community Partnerships
At the College of Behavioral, Social, and Health Sciences, we are driven by a commitment to improve individual and community well-being through education, research and service. Our partnerships with industry leaders, community organizations and public institutions play a vital role in this mission.
Through these partnerships, we create opportunities for applied research, clinical and field placements, internships, talent acquisition, workforce development and community-based initiatives. These partnerships enrich our students’ academic experiences, prepare them for impactful careers and contribute to solutions for today’s most complex challenges.
CBSHS supports strategies aimed at students, faculty, and industry and community partners to nurture these partnerships and impact lives statewide and beyond. These efforts are guided by the Engagement and Partnerships with Industry and Community Committee
We welcome industry and community organizations to connect with us to build relationships that benefit our partners, enrich student learning and create real-world solutions. Please reach out to Ed Bowers at edmondb@clemson.edu to discuss ideas and opportunities, or see the links below.

There are several ways for industry and community organizations to engage with Clemson faculty and students. Please see potential opportunities below.
“CBSHS has amazing collaborations across South Carolina that benefit our partners, students and faculty. With intentional support of these partnerships, CBSHS can serve as an exemplar within and beyond Clemson for how a land-grant university’s mission can be realized. ”
