New Laptop Set-up
All laptops coming to Clemson for the first time need to be set up for the Clemson environment. This is true whether you just purchased a new laptop from Clemson or are bringing a laptop from home. CCIT provides support to help new students get their laptops ready for their time at Clemson, offering both in-person laptop workshops and detailed step-by-step walkthroughs. These resources cover CCIT’s software offerings and basic set-up topics such as connecting to eduroam for wifi, printing on campus, connecting to email accounts and more.
In-Person Laptop Workshops
Teams of CCIT employees will be available in-person each August to help new students ensure their laptops are ready for their first year as Tigers. Students can bring their laptops to the following workshop sessions based on their colleges and types of laptops. Please register in advance to secure your spot and arrive on time at the start of each session.
