Academic Technology Council
CCIT has a standing board of faculty that advises our direction on strategic technology issues. The Faculty Senate commissions the Academic Technology Council as the official faculty information technology (IT) advisory function.
Overview
The Academic Technology Council (ATC) serves Clemson in several ways, as it acts as the faculty advisory board for both Clemson Computing and Information Technology (CCIT) and Clemson Online. This group comprises representatives from each of Clemson’s seven academic colleges and beyond and advocates for faculty interests in IT policies and projects. The ATC also initiates and participates in future-oriented IT projects on learning and research, helping to invent next-generation learning programs and opportunities at Clemson. The group’s primary goal is to be proactive, not reactive, concerning educational technology.
This group meets periodically each academic year. Notes from their meetings will be available to those with Clemson University credentials.
Visit the Faculty Senate website to learn more about the ATC and its members.
