Non-Thesis Master's - Industry Track

The required zero-credit internship course distinguishes the M.S. non-thesis industrial track program from traditional M.S. non-thesis curriculums. This program allows both domestic and international students to earn their degree and participate in a full-time internship for up to 8-months – all in less than 2 years. Graduates develop valuable industry connections and experience while obtaining advanced technical, theoretical, and applied knowledge to solve complex problems.

  • Program Highlights
    • Students can select from four emphasis areas: Design and Manufacturing, Dynamical Systems and Controls, Engineering Mechanics, and Thermal and Fluid Sciences.
    • Students can complete internships with local industries in Upstate SC or anywhere in the U.S. Our students can take advantage of Clemson University’s award-winning Center for Career and Professional Development and college-level in their internship search and interview process.
    • Graduates establish personal relationships with U.S. employers who may offer employment opportunities or provide references post-graduation.
    • Graduates stand-out in the job-market post-graduation. Rise to the top of job applicant pools with an M.S. degree from a prestigious R1 university while adding up to 8 months of industry internships to your resume.
