Profile/About Me
I grew up in Greenville, SC. I got my bachelor's in Biology with a focus in genetics at Lander University in the Spring of 2022. My overall research interests include topics in paleontology and developmental biology!
My current work focuses on the avian synsacrum, a fused bone structure essential for bipedal locomotion and flight. I use phylogenetics, geometric morphometrics, and various genetic methods to understand its evolution and diversification with the radiation of crown birds.
