Research Interests

The Rosowski lab investigates host-pathogen interactions and the innate immune response to infections using the larval zebrafish host model. Cutting-edge imaging and genetic methods allow us to define the role of specific cell types and pathways in immune system function. One of our current interests is identifying pathways in macrophages that promote killing of the fungal pathogen Aspergillus fumigatus. We are also interested in how anti-fungal drugs function in vivo and synergize with host immune pathways.
