Profile/About Me

As the Financial Services Manager, Andrea assists in the planning and oversight of annual budgets, financial management, and business operations for the College of Science (SCIENCE). She provides training, financial management assistance, serves as the secondary business officer, and financial analyst for Dean's Office, G&B, CHG, and EPIC, as well as financial backup for departments in SCIENCE. Andrea supervises and leads the Financial Analyst team. In June 2017, she accepted the business manager position in the Joseph F. Sullivan Center. Prior to joining the Clemson family, she worked for thirteen years as a healthcare professional and business administrator. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Columbia Southern University, as well as multiple health professional certifications from Greenville Technical College. Andrea is a native of Pickens, SC where she resides with her husband David. They have two phenomenal children Connor Burns and Karsyn Lily. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Tigers, music, art, cooking, and traveling anywhere between the mountains and the sea.
