Description

The Department of Genetics and Biochemistry at Clemson University invites applications for a temporary full-time lecturer position. The primary responsibilities are to teach Genetics 3000 – Fundamental Genetics, a large undergraduate non-majors genetics course, in the fall 2020 and to teach Biochemistry 3050 – Molecular Biochemistry, a large undergraduate non-majors biochemistry course, in spring 2021. Application is open to either teaching one semester or both semesters. 

Expected start date is July 2020. This is a non-tenure track position. Salary level will be commensurate with education and experience and a benefits package is included.

The department offers B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in genetics and in biochemistry and molecular biology, and provides a first-rate environment for engaging students and colleagues in collaborative research and teaching efforts spanning genetics and biochemistry. Qualifications

A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required and teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
